Terms of Service

Hatchreel is a creative web application operated by Hatchreel that helps you develop recurring short-form video series, write scripts, approve storyboards, and render finished vertical videos to download and publish.

You must be at least 18 years old and provide a valid email address to create a Hatchreel account.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and sign-in email. One free trial video is included per person so you can evaluate the service before subscribing.

Subscription plans and add-on video packs are detailed on our Pricing page. Each plan provides a set allowance of finished, downloadable vertical videos per billing period, with up to 12 storyboard frame redos and 5 script rewrites included per video.

Monthly video allowances refresh on your renewal date and do not roll over. Add-on 5-video packs ($7.99) are available to active paid subscribers and never expire while your subscription remains active. Taxes, if applicable, are shown at checkout and processed by our authorized payment partner.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically each month or year depending on the billing cycle you select. You can change or cancel your plan anytime from your Billing settings.

When you cancel, your subscription and remaining video allowance stay active through the end of your current paid billing period, and you won't be billed again.

If a video render fails to complete, it never counts against your plan—your video allowance is restored automatically. Subscription refund eligibility, including our 7-day refund window for unused paid plans, is detailed in our Refund Policy.

You own the videos you create with Hatchreel and hold commercial rights to publish and monetize them on your channels, subject to compliance with these Terms and our Acceptable Use Policy.

Hatchreel claims no ownership over your generated videos. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display your project files solely to provide the service to you. You represent that any prompts or materials you provide do not infringe the rights of any third party.

You agree to follow our Acceptable Use Policy. Automated safety checks review prompts before generation, and Hatchreel may decline requests that violate our safety standards.

Generated scripts, visuals, voiceovers, and music are created algorithmically and may occasionally contain inaccuracies or unintended similarities to existing works. Please review your script, storyboard frames, and finished video before publishing. Read our AI Disclosure for guidance on platform labeling.

You may stop using Hatchreel at any time by cancelling your subscription in Billing and deleting your account in Settings.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy, or that pose a security or legal risk to the service. We may retain minimal records as required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Hatchreel is provided 'as is' without warranties of uninterrupted availability, specific audience growth, or platform monetization outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hatchreel is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid to Hatchreel in the 3 months preceding the claim or $50 USD.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, excluding conflict-of-law principles. If you have a concern or dispute, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can work to resolve it promptly.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The 'Last updated' date above reflects the current version. For material changes, we will notify you via the email address associated with your account.
